The Bracknell Bees Supporters Club are delighted to announce the details of their first social event of the season.

On Thursday 2nd November (30 years since the Bracknell Bees first ever game) the Supporters Club will be celebrating this historic day in Honies Restaurant at The Hive.

The evening will be celebrated with a digital race night hosted by our friends at Please Entertain me (check them out on Facebook HERE).  

Last season’s digital race night was a huge success and we are glad to be holding the fantastically fun event again.

The evening will start at 7pm with the first race getting underway at 7.30pm so please make sure you arrive in plenty of time.   Members of the Bees squad will again be in attendance so it’s also a great opportunity to meet and mingle with the player.

Remember to bring your loose change to get involved and have a little flutter on the horses?  Pick your favourite name, colour or even number and see if you get lucky.

Why not pop along and join in the fun?    Everyone welcome and let’s try and pack the place out, bring along your family and friends

So how does it work I hear you ask – well it’s relatively simple.

The betting tote system works by collecting in all of the wagers before the race, a percentage of the income is retained for the club and the remainder is divided between the winning betting tote tickets on that race.

Once all of the wagers have been placed the betting tote is closed.  The race film is then shown, complete with commentary and you cheer on your horse!  Winners then receive their cash prizes before moving on the next race.

Entry prices are £7 for general admission or £5 for Bees Season ticket holders, this is inclusive of nibbles that will be provided on the night.

Tickets are available from tonight’s home regular season opener vs Basingstoke Bison from the Supporters Club shop & merchandise table.

The will also be the usual fun raffle held during the mid-race break, £1 a ticket with some great prizes up for grabs!   If anyone would like to donate prizes for the raffle then please contact the Supporters Club at beessc@gogglemail.com
